ART NOW! Details:

"ART, NOW!" Benefit show for IPS 15 (Thomas D. Gregg) will be hosted by Gregg De’Boor. 

This benefit is being held to raise money and to donate supplies for the art program at IPS 15, Thomas D. Gregg School. You will be able to meet and chat with the art teacher Robin Rossman.

Several artists have donated their artwork to be auctioned and 50% of those proceeds will be donated to the art program.

YOU CAN HELP, by bringing art supplies, such as: Water color paints, regular lead and colored pencils, erasers, paint brushes etc...

Schedule of Events:

March 29th, Sat. @ The Bean Cup Coffee Shop

6 -7 p.m. Tonos Trios performing while viewing  art.

7 - 8 p.m. Art Auction (50% of proceeds are being donated from the artists)

If you are local to the central Indiana area, please stop by the Oaken Barrel to try their latest creation "The Bean Cup's Best!"  We have worked in conjunction with Mark the Brew Master for the Oaken Barrel, to create a new Java Stout that just HAS to be experienced!  They used our Hazelnut Cream blend to create a dark stout that has an amazing aroma and flavor.  It is a short run batch and hit the tap this past Saturday so GET IT WHILE IT LASTS!!!!

OK, I know it's been forever since the photos have been updated.  Fret no more my friends, I have just finished a HUGE upload getting us caught up to the end of 2007.  I had to give the photo gallery a major overhaul on the back side to make things easier to update, and that is finally complete.  There are still some straggler folders that need some love and I will get to them in the next few days, as well as get the 2008 folder rockin and rollin.  Thanks for all your support and love!

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and everyone of our customer and friends who helped us come in 3rd in the WRTV A-List 'Best of' competition!  All of your votes, comments, and support are greatly appreciated and without each of you it would not have been possible.  We are extremely happy with our 3rd place finish, especially considering we are the 'new kid on the block' and got a late start in the contest.

Speaking of 'new kid on the block', we are approaching our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!  Come by the shop this coming Tuesday November 20th for free coffee and cupcakes to help us celebrate.  We could not have done it without all of your support.  Thank you and we look forward to many more years to come!

NEW ITEMS
Some of this may be a little old news to those of you who have already partaken in our new offerings.  We are now offering BAKED OATMEAL that is OUT OF THIS WORLD!  Come by and give it a shot.  We also have a couple new salads (Harvest and Chef), and some other items.  Take a look at our MENU section to download a current menu.

Happy Valentines Day!  We would like to thank the Brothers In Law bluegrass band, the Shirtless Biddles, and O' Captain for some outstanding performances.  We will have some more dates scheduled in the near future.  Take a look at some of the updated photos if you missed the shows.  Speaking of the near future, be sure to make plans to stop in this Saturday for the master wordsmith Jason Ammerman!

2.1.2007:
February is HERE and with it come some upcoming events!  We have Conan Gill, Shirtless Biddles, hazelrah, O' Captain, Patrick Roberts, and more so take a look at the new calendars in the events section to plan accordingly.  I will be uploading some new photos soon showcasing some of the new artwork we have on display.  You owe it to yourself to come in and take a look.  Better hurry too, because some of the items are selling like crazy and you don't want to miss out on having a chance to see them in person.  Also be on the lookout for an online version of our menu.  More updates on the way!!

Check out the EVENTS page for some updated info as well as pics from our first show.  We would like to thank Patrick Roberts and Terzetto for giving us a great show!  We have also added some new photos of the shop in action.  You can find them in the PHOTOS section.  If you are an acoustic act, a poet, or someone who has an idea for an event at The Bean Cup, drop us a note!  Look for the Shirtless Biddles coming in February!

WE ARE OPEN! I haven't had a lot of time for updates, but I have added a massive amount of pictures with more to come.  We have our first acoustic show coming up on Dec. 23rd as well!

Well, we wanted to open tomorrow but there are still a few last minute items we need to finish to pass our inspections.  After another weekend of hitting it hard, we should be able to do just that.  Come by at noon on Monday and get some COFFEE!

Happy Halloween!  We have our signs up!! I have added more pics of the construction as well as our NEW SIGNS!  We have pushed our opening back a week or so.  Hopefully that will give us some breathing room.   More--
